MIT Teachers’ Training College is one of the best private colleges in Kenya. The college has a strong pedagogical premise for quality teaching and training in order to achieve its mandate of ensuring accessible, affordable and relevant programmes for the changing socio-economic and societal needs.

Currently, the college offers Diploma training in Primary Teacher Education (DPTE), Early Childhood teacher Education (DECTE), Diploma in Child Care and protection, Diploma in Secondary teacher Education (DSTE), Certificate in Care Giver, and Diploma in Special Needs Education.

We have a qualified and dedicated team of professionals that ensure that our students receive the best of the services that the college offers in teacher education. The college has an empowered division of student welfare services which continuously re-engineers and positions itself to unlock any emerging talents among students.

Being at the heart of Machakos town, MIT TTC is easily accessible and students can easily commute to the college from their hostels or home as preferred by the student. We have also gone a mile further and simplified the mode of fees payment by allowing students to pay in monthly installments which accommodate everyone. We confidently state that MIT TTC is the preferred college in Machakos today. It is also worth noting that once qualified after passing your KNEC examination, your college of training whether private or government gives you equal opportunity.
