CECE 200: CERTIFICATE IN EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATION
This is a one and a half year course. At the end of the course the trainee should;
- Acquire and apply knowledge , skills and attitudes to develop relevant ECDE programmes
- Create activities that foster positive social interaction
- Acquire, adapt and apply technology in teaching and learning activities
- Identify and develop materials using locally available resources
- Enrich the child’s experience to enable him/her to cope better with primary school life
- Acquire knowledge and skills to enable the child to enjoy learning through play

CECE 211: Creative Art Activities and Physical Activities
CECE 212: General Knowledge, Religious Education and Materials Development
CECE 213: Introduction to Research and Community Development

Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications are KCSE D+
- Or KCSE D or D- (But will sit for a KNEC proficiency certificate Before taking certificate exams)
